Soulslike Enotria: The Last Song delayed indefinitely on Xbox as dev says it's being ignored by Microsoft

UPDATE 4/9/2024 5.30pm: Following reports an Xbox release for upcoming Soulslike Enotria: The Last Song is back on the cards after intervention by Microsoft, amid claims it had ignored developer Jyamma Games for months, the studio has made it official.

“We would like to officially thank Phil Spencer and his team for reaching out so promptly and helping to resolve our situation,” Jyamma wrote in a statement shared on social media. “We would also like to thanks our amazing community for all the support shown in the recent days. Your voice has been heard very loud and clear, and your commitment has been heartwarming.”

Jyamma adds it is now “working closely with Microsoft” and hopes this will lead to Enoria’s release on Xbox “as soon as possible”. Currently, the PlayStation 5 and PC versions of the game are due to arrive on 18th September, but it’s unclear if today’s development will provide enough time for a simultaneous Xbox launch.
