Developer Color Gray Games has detailed a new Redux version of its detective murder mystery game, and it’s set for Steam and Switch.
This Redux version of Case of the Golden Idol will overhaul the game’s UI and add a new hint system. It will also offer 13 new localisations, readability and save improvements, and “dozens more” quality-of-life changes. All of this will make for a “much more seamless and enjoyable experience”, the developer said, particularly highlighting Steam Deck.

Read more Gearbox founder Randy Pitchford has defended recent flops such as the Borderlands film and its Risk of Rain 2 DLC by comparing the company to one of the most highly-regarded bands of all time. Yes, The Beatles.
Replying to a user who had commented on the developer’s recent “judgement and shot calling ability”, Pitchford stated he was “going to keep making stuff” and subsequently brought the English rock band into the conversation.
“I wish everything could be a hit, but that is not how it works,” Pitchford wrote in the exchange on social media platform X (spotted by PC Gamer). “The greatest musical act of all time, The Beatles, had a 25 percent hit rate.”

Ubisoft last night emailed some PlayStation 5 players asking them to update their copy of Outlaws to the latest version, following a chunky bug-busting patch.
“To best experience the Outer Rim, we rolled out a maintenance to make sure everyone is playing the latest version of the game,” Ubisoft’s email reads. “As one of the players affected who had access to an older version of the game, we are aware you might be encountering some issues after this recent patch. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

Price history data on the game, as shared on site’s such as PSPrices.com, shows the PS4 version of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition was selling for £15.99 – and had been for some time – until it got a sudden, sharp, price increase yesterday (25th September).
Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition is now retailing for £34.99 on the official UK PlayStation Store, more than double what it was a couple of days ago. On the US store, meanwhile, it is currently retailing at $39.99.
