The first chapter of Blasphemous’ The Penitent One – which recently marked its fifth anniversary – is now available to pre-order on iOS and Android for £8 ($8).
The mobile port – set to release on 24th February 2025 – includes the base game along with all DLC “day one”, “delivering the complete experience right at your fingertips”.

Greedfall 2 developer Spiders says it has heard your early access feedback and is addressing “two important subjects”: “combat and character customisation”.
Addressing players on Steam, the Greedfall team said the early access launch earlier this week had been “exciting”, but acknowledged improvements were needed, including improving the drop rate, adjusting AI behaviours, and making dialogue scenes “less blurry”.

Following new of “softer than expected” sales for Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft has announced the open-world sci-fi adventure will get its first bit of previously announced post-launch story DLC – starring Lando Calrissian – on 21st November.

Titled Wild Card, it sees Star Wars Outlaws protagonist Kay Vess being hired to infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament. “But as she crosses paths with the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian,” Ubisoft teases, “she soon learns that another game is being played.”

Wild Card arrives alongside two more Star Wars Outlaws cosmetics bundles – Hunter’s Legacy and Cartel Ronin – which will also be part of the Season Pass, and a free update introducing new Contracts for all players arrives on the same day.

In the time since PlayStation announced it would be releasing a remastered PS5 and PC version of Guerrilla’s Horizon Zero Dawn, it has also quietly bumped up the price of the original PS4 game.
Price history data on the game, as shared on site’s such as PSPrices.com, shows the PS4 version of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition was selling for £15.99 – and had been for some time – until it got a sudden, sharp, price increase yesterday (25th September).
Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition is now retailing for £34.99 on the official UK PlayStation Store, more than double what it was a couple of days ago. On the US store, meanwhile, it is currently retailing at $39.99.

Ex-Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president Chris Deering does not believe recent layoffs across the games industry have been a result of corporate greed. Instead, workers who have lost their jobs should “drive an Uber” or “go to the beach for a year” until employment settles.
Deering was a guest on games writer Simon Parkin’s podcast My Perfect Console, where the pair discussed games industry layoffs.
“I don’t think it’s fair to say that the resulting layoffs have been greed,” said Deering. “I always tried to minimise the speed with which we added staff because I always knew there would be a cycle and I didn’t want to end up having the same problems that Sony did in Electronics.”

After five years of early access and 6m copies already sold, Satisfactory has finally launched its full 1.0 version on PC.
From Coffee Stain Studios, Satisfactory is a first-person game in which players construct huge factories in an open, alien world.
This release includes a “full narrative overhaul complete with mysteries for players to uncover”, along with Tier 9 content that allows players to use advanced alien tech in their builds.
